We are seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join our team based in Des Moines, IA. This hybrid role where you will play a key role in analyzing financial and program data, creating insights that steer strategic decision-making, and shaping the success of energy efficiency initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate and interpret complex financial and program data to uncover actionable insights that improve performance and efficiency.
- Build and maintain financial dashboards and tracking tools to monitor metrics with clarity and precision.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and engaging presentations for stakeholders, communicating financial insights that drive results.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align analytical findings with business objectives.
- Contribute to financial forecasting, accounts payable processes, and overall financial planning efforts.
- Support the creation of program documentation, including guidelines, manuals, and visual management tools.
- Monitor program expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization or risk mitigation.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies that ensure program success and align with organizational goals.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or financial reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL, BusinessObjects Technologies, and Power Platform.
• Strong skills in Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Familiarity with Power BI programming and Dynamics is highly preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Power Automate is a plus.
