Position: Resort Engineer
Concept Type: Luxury Resort
Location: Sedona, AZ
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
Job Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in two or more areas: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.
- Basic skills in remaining areas: pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, etc.
- Previous experience in hotel/motel, high-rise building, or construction preferred
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Computer literacy
- Strong guest and team member relations skills
- CPR and First Aid certified
Job Responsibilities:
As a Resort Engineer in Sedona, you will:
- Respond to guest room repair requests promptly
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment
- Maintain a clean working environment post-repair
- Use the Lockout/Tagout system during maintenance work
- Perform troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
- Manage shop areas, spare parts, and inventories
- Communicate with the engineering supervisor on assigned projects
- Adhere to quality expectations and safety standards
- Foster positive relationships with team members and guests
