Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect – Java & Web Technologies opening for our client in New York, NY.

Location: New York, NY
Duration: 12 months

Duties:

Serve as a key Application Architect supporting the Global Commercial Services organization
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise-level solutions using Java and Web Technologies
Provide architectural leadership and guidance in the use of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), RESTful web services, and Apigee
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and security policies
Lead design sessions and code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with architectural standards
Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation
Oversee and support data architecture design using Postgres/PostgreSQL
Integrate endpoint security considerations into application and system designs

Skills:

Expertise in Java and Java API development
Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful web services
Experience with database technologies, specifically Postgres/PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with Apigee for API management
Understanding of DB architecture and design principles
Knowledge of endpoint security best practices
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and tools

Experience:

Minimum 8 years of experience in application architecture and design
Proven track record of successful delivery of complex, enterprise-grade systems
Experience supporting enterprise architecture in a global commercial services context

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required
Master’s degree preferred

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
