Employment Litigation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking multiple skilled Employment Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in civil litigation matters, primarily employment related disputes. This role involves handling cases related to PAGA claims, harassment, and both single plaintiff and class action lawsuits. The attorney will work closely with clients to develop legal strategies and provide expert advice throughout the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent employers in employment litigation matters before state and federal courts.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and evidence gathering.
  • Advise clients on legal rights and obligations under employment law and related regulations.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution when appropriate.
  • Stay current on developments in employment law and litigation strategies to provide informed counsel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and share best practices.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Barred in CA
  • 1+ years of experience in employment litigation (required to work hybrid)
  • 7+ years of experience in employment litigation (allowed to work remote)
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation, employment law, and labor relations.
  • Experience handling PAGA claims, harassment cases, and class action lawsuits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
