A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Hardware Design Engineer (Entry-Level) in Boise, ID 83716. The Hardware Design Engineer would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.
Hardware Design Engineer Compensation
- The pay for this position is $45.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Hardware Design Engineer Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, standard business hours (onsite in Boise, ID)
Hardware Design Engineer Responsibilities
- Perform design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems
- Support development of new products and enhancements to existing products
- Assist in electronic and/or mechanical design activities
- Conduct research, evaluation, and implementation of new processes and engineering methods
- Develop and execute testing routines and validation plans
- Assist with project planning, schedules, and documentation of results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and manufacturing
Hardware Design Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 0–3 years of engineering experience (internships/co-ops accepted)
- Basic understanding of hardware design and development principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a hands-on lab and engineering environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Hardware Design Engineer Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with circuit design, PCB layout, or embedded systems
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Exposure to hardware testing, debugging, and validation
- Internship or academic project experience in hardware development
