You bring a blueprint to life on a vertical or horizontal CNC mill—dialing in offsets, validating features, and signing your name to the results. By 10:45PM, the cell is spotless, the paperwork is crisp, and another aerospace component is production-ready. When demand spikes, you lean in—overtime available—and the team delivers.

Your responsibilities

  • Run both production and non-production jobs on vertical and horizontal CNC mills with a quality-first mindset.
  • Set up, load, and execute programs; verify per the Process Routing Document and record inspection results legibly.
  • Perform manual deburring to achieve required edges and finishes.
  • Complete job documentation and own your assigned records.
  • Partner with supervisors, quality, and peers to troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
  • Conduct daily maintenance; keep your area safe, orderly, and clean.
  • Protect electronic, intellectual, and physical property of our company, customers, and suppliers.
  • Comply with all Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.

What sets you up for success

  • 1–3 years of hands-on vertical/horizontal CNC milling experience.
  • Availability for 2nd shift (5-day work week, 8-hour shifts, 2:15-10:45PM).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Comfort reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
  • Experience with drilling, turning, and tapping; familiarity with vertical and horizontal machines.
  • Bridgeport experience preferred.
  • Inspection competency and solid basic mathematics.
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude; fluent in written and spoken English.
