We are looking to hire a skilled semi-trailer technician/mechanic for immediate hire in our main shop.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Evaluate and diagnose mechanical & electrical problems.
- Welding & fabrication of repairs
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn heavy-duty parts
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and tools.
- Test the equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED – Required
- 2-5 years of experience with heavy-duty equipment repair – Preferred
- State Certifications - Preferred
- Trailer body and Welding and Fabrication experience – Preferred
- Having your hand tools
- Time management
- Self-starter with a great attitude
- Must be able to pass a lift test
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and audiogram test
