A law firm in the greater Greensboro, NC area is currently seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support its civil litigation and insurance defense team. This opening comes as a result of an internal promotion, and the firm is looking for a capable and detail-driven professional to step into this key role. Primary Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys

Draft, edit, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence

File legal documents with state and federal courts, including electronic submissions

Maintain and organize case files in both digital and physical formats

Coordinate attorney schedules, court appearances, and client meetings

Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and compiling case materials

Serve as a point of contact for clients, court staff, and opposing counsel

Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of legal tasks

Support billing processes, including time entry and invoice preparation
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years in a legal assistant role, ideally with exposure to civil litigation and insurance-related matters

Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software

Demonstrates discretion, reliability, and a client-focused mindset

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
