Lot Manager Position – Szott M-59 Toyota

We're seeking a dedicated Lot Manager to oversee our bustling vehicle inventory and keep our lot looking its best. If you have a passion for organization, attention to detail, and the automotive industry, this is your opportunity to drive success in a dynamic dealership setting!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the new, used, and pre-owned vehicle lots for maximum curb appeal and efficient customer flow
- Park, reposition, and rotate vehicles daily to ensure an attractive, well-stocked display that highlights our top models (like RAV4, Camry, Tacoma, Highlander, and more!)
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness (exterior washes, interior spot-checks, battery/fuel monitoring) and ensure all vehicles are properly tagged, fueled, and ready for sale
- Coordinate vehicle movements, including deliveries, trades, and lot reassignments
- Oversee lot attendants/porters and ensure the entire lot, grounds, and showroom areas are clean, safe, and professional
- Support sales and service teams by preparing vehicles for test drives, photos, or customer handovers
- Handle weather-related tasks (e.g., snow removal in Michigan winters) and general lot maintenance
- Enforce dealership safety and security protocols
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership (lot attendant, porter, or inventory role preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willing to work outdoors most of the day, including rain and snowy conditions
- Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive knowledge a plus
- Ability to work Saturdays and Holidays, as needed
- Competitive pay based on experience, up to $16 per hour
