Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the processing and reconciliation of daily transactions, offering exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest quality standards in accordance with hotel policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct nightly audits of all revenue streams including rooms, food & beverage, and other departments; ensure all charges are accurate and processed timely.
- Manage the nightly operations of the front desk, ensuring guest check-ins and check-outs are handled professionally.
- Prepare daily financial and operational reports for management review.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints, providing resolutions to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
- Monitor lobby and public areas to maintain safety and security throughout the night.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to facilitate efficient daily hotel operations.
- Assist in performing end-of-day procedures, including balancing accounts and processing financial data.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and calmly, ensuring the safety and security of all guests and staff.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, OnQ) and basic accounting software.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and customer service abilities.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
