About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team in providing critical repairs and upkeep to our facility. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition of our building, including performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and develop plans to address them

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA and HIPAA

• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance services

Requirements:

• 2 years previous experience as a director in long-term care

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team

• Strong maintenance abilities to provide repairs for residents' homes

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
