The Vernon Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Engineering Cyber Specialist for an exciting opportunity with a large Hospital.
In this critical role, you will lead the technical execution of a medical device cybersecurity program, helping protect patient care technologies while ensuring compliance with healthcare cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead implementation of medical device cybersecurity strategies
✅ Perform cybersecurity risk assessments and threat analysis
✅ Implement cybersecurity controls and critical security fixes
✅ Collaborate with Clinical Engineering, IT, and Information Security teams
✅ Monitor emerging threats and assess impact to medical device inventory
✅ Support cybersecurity metrics and reporting for leadership

RequirementsQualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
✔ Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
✔ Experience in medical device cybersecurity or healthcare technology environments
✔ Knowledge of NIST, ISO, FDA, and Joint Commission standards
✔ Experience with CMMS platforms
✔ Valid Driver’s License required
✔ CISSP, HCISPP, CEH, Security+, or similar certifications preferred
