Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to menus and residents’ dietary needs

Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
-
Prepare meals that are attractive, nutritious, and enjoyable
-
Follow special diets and food preferences as directed
-
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
-
Work cooperatively with dietary and nursing staff

Help ensure meals are served on time
