Our Full-Line Maintenance Company looking to hire a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician to perform service call work orders and projects for multiple commercial, industrial and residential service locations. This would be comparable to a building or operating engineer position at multiple properties.
In this position you must possess knowledge and experience with one or more of the following: electrical / lighting, plumbing, HVAC, hardware / mechanicals, building maintenance, etc. Candidate must also have some type of Facility Maintenance background to apply. Electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC EPA certification(s) is/are a plus.
We are currently and primarily hiring for a technician with electrical & lighting as a specialty that will still need to be able to perform other trade-work, however there are additional positions available otherwise.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to work well with customers and coworkers
- Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving/repairing building issues in an efficient and professional manner
- Top-quality workmanship and service
- Ensure that all safety policies are strictly adhered to
- Constant communication with office staff
- Emergency/on-call service on rotation (1 week at a time) – higher pay rate above overtime
- Utilize a company vehicle for all company service work (only) – multiple properties – may be able to take truck home
Tradework examples – extensive knowledge and experience in one or more of these is required
Electrical/lighting – commercial, industrial & residential
- Electrical fault diagnoses and repairs (breaks/opens, shorts, etc.)
- Breaker & panel repairs
- Device repairs & replacements (switches, outlets, etc.)
- Circuit modifications and additions
- Interior & exterior LED retrofitting, replacements, and repairs (drivers and arrays)
- HID lighting repairs (high pressure sodium and metal halide)
- Fluorescent lighting repairs
- Emergency lighting repairs
- Switching device repairs & replacements (photocells and timers)
- Low-voltage systems (some – door access controls, irrigation controls, lighting systems, etc.)
- Bucket truck & lift work (heights up to 25’-30’)
Plumbing - commercial, industrial & residential
- Drain cleaning & cable and jet rodding (fixtures, branch lines, and main lines)
- Fixture replacements and installations
- Fixture repairs (toilets, faucets, etc. – commercial grade)
- Ability to work with copper, PVC, and black steel piping
- Sump pumps, storm pumps and controls, grinder/sewage pumps and controls
- Water leak detection/diagnosis/repair
- Water heater & circulator pump repairs & replacement
HVAC – commercial, industrial & residential
- Maintenance clean & checks
- System issue diagnosis/repairs
- Intake & exhaust fans
- Exhaust ventilators
Hardware / Mechanicals – commercial, industrial & residential
- Door and door hardware repairs and replacement
- Window and window hardware repairs and replacements
- Cabinetry hardware
- Gate & fence hardware
$30.00 to $36.00 per hour, plus specified benefits
Candidate must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record (insurance requirement for driving company vehicles)
Candidate must pass a 4-panel drug test (THC not considered at time of hire testing).

Our team consists of many field technicians who have a trade specialty but also have multiple and other trade experience and knowledge for the ability to maintain the overall buildings and properties we service.
We additionally have office and support staff to assist in perform the quoting, communication, technical support & researching, scheduling, materials & parts sourcing and pickup, and billing responsibilities with the technicians in the field.
The company primarily utilizes digital platforms for a majority of our services and procedures along with phones & tablets in the field for the technicians to keep up with the evolutions and advancements of our trades, properties, and growing customer base.
Our normal operating schedule is Monday through Friday with emergency/on-call services when needed on nights and weekends.
