RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Schedule includes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights
\n• Holiday pay provided for New Year, Thanksgiving, and Christmas only
\n• Provide patient care in emergency setting with minimum supervision
\n• Perform safe, rapid, and accurate patient triage
\n• Communicate with physicians regarding patient status
\n• Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as needed
\n• Must be willing to float to Med Surg when required
\n• Current California RN license required
\n• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
\n• 2+ years recent ER experience preferred
\n• Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (T-System and CPSI) required
\n• Must pass nursing medication test
\n• Must effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
\n• Strong interpersonal skills required for professional interaction with patients, staff, and public
\n• Basic computer skills required
