Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst III to join our team in Portage, Michigan, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. This role involves providing advanced technical support to end users, resolving complex hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless network and server operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems, excellent customer service skills, and expertise in troubleshooting and project coordination.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 3 technical support to address advanced hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance for Windows-based systems, including server and virtualization environments.
• Assist in the management and coordination of IT infrastructure projects to ensure smooth implementation.
• Monitor and maintain Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and deliver excellent service.
• Conduct triage processes to identify and prioritize technical support needs.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices to safeguard IT systems.
• Evaluate and upgrade hardware and software to enhance system performance.
• Support automation and AI-related initiatives within the organization.• Proven experience in customer service within a technical support environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server, and related IT systems.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot networking issues and perform basic network diagnostics.
• CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Previous exposure to project management or coordination is highly desirable.
• Experience with cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
