Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Front Desk Attendant to join our team in Glen Allen, Virginia. This is a contract position within the chemicals manufacturing industry, offering a dynamic environment for individuals skilled in reception and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a multi-line phone system, answering and directing calls promptly and accurately.
• Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Respond to inbound calls and inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
• Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
• Perform administrative office tasks, such as scheduling, filing, and data entry.
• Assist with coordinating appointments and meetings for staff members.
• Handle incoming mail and deliveries, distributing them appropriately.
• Provide support to various departments with general office duties as required.• At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front desk role.
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage inbound calls and inquiries effectively.
• Experience with administrative office tasks, including scheduling and data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
