Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, labor coordination, budgeting, material procurement, implementation, and billing.
  • Conduct pre-estimating walk-throughs and collaborate with estimators during the bid phase.
  • Read, interpret, and analyze bids, technical documents, and government regulations.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and procedure documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, field personnel, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Calculate material and labor costs, apply appropriate discounts, and interpret margins, markups, and percentages.
  • Review project specifications and material requests; process purchase orders accordingly.
  • Prepare and process change orders as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain consistent communication with vendors to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
  • Determine and verify pricing structures, margins, and job profitability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in project management.
  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical construction.
  • Strong attendance and reliability record.
  • Strong math skills, including basic algebra.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Familiarity with safety protocols including Lock-out/Tag-out, HAZMAT, Forklift operation, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention.
  • Basic understanding of quality systems and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
