Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Program CNC mills and lathes using CAM software and/or conversational programming.

Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining.

Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.

Make program edits and machine adjustments to improve quality and productivity.

Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.

Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards throughout production.

Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Work closely with management, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.

Train or assist less experienced machinists as needed.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school education preferred.

3–5+ years of CNC machining experience.

Experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes.

Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, cutting parameters, and workholding.

Ability to read blueprints.

Experience using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and indicators.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
- Manual dexterity required to operate machinery and precision measuring instruments.
