Job DescriptionMunich Airport NJ LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport. Munich Airport NJ LLC is responsible for the maintenance and concession management of Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)! We are looking for a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator to join our team as soon as possible.
As a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator, you will be a part of a dynamic team, helping to enhance travelers’ journeys by providing best-in-class airport services and elevating travel experiences beyond expectations.
The Facilities Maintenance Planner/Coordinator is a key role within the Facilities Management team to support all physical infrastructure activities within Terminal Operators responsibility. The planner will be the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers and will provide the necessary daily support to the FM team and contractors. This role will also be responsible for operational control of key Building systems that will monitor both the Health and Performance of critical Terminal Assets. You will be part of a quickly growing team, helping not only to create an attractive passenger terminal, but also to develop the Terminal Operator company with your expertise and personality.
Your Future Responsibilities

Ensures that all schedules and work orders for Planned Maintenance are in place and stakeholders are informed

Monitors execution, receives reports on executed PM Work Orders and validates that information is logged into the CMMS system (Maximo)

Ensures events/incidents are logged into the CMMS system, attended to and resolved as per SLAs, using the standard work order and event/incident management procedures

Informs and collaborates if there is an event needing other stakeholders’ involvement

Informs and puts measures in place for any alerts received by a Facility Maintenance system

Monitors and oversees that planned and ad-hoc inspections are taking place

Monitors all KPIs and SLAs for compliance

Monitors subcontractors’ performance on planned maintenance and event management and coordinate with respective management

Issues shift/daily reports as required

Contributes to reporting & analysis to identify trends, suggest condition-based maintenance actions and enhances the ITOCC Operation

Assists technicians in locating parts, supplies, and materials

Confirms that all required documentation related to Work Order Execution is maintained accordingly

Acts as first resolution provider wherever possible

Monitors Building Management System(s) status and takes appropriate action to address any received faults through management of Corrective Work Order

Shift work required (16 x 7)
Your Education & Training
-
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and 5 years in Facilities Management and Maintenance; or technical associate degree and 10 years in Facilities Management and Maintenance

2 years of experience within the aviation sector within the Facilities Maintenance Organization preferred

Prior knowledge of CMMS system such as Maximo and Building Management Systems

The base salary range for this role is $33 to $36 per hour. You will learn a wealth of information about the aviation industry and airport operations while here, and if this temporary/seasonal position goes full-time, additional benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) will be offered! Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
