A growing manufacturer in Jefferson, Ohio is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, inventory planning, and procurement operations. What You'll Do
- Develop and execute purchasing and sourcing strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and material availability.
- Analyze procurement data and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Customer Service teams.
- Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor market conditions and proactively address supply chain risks.
- Support ERP data accuracy and inventory optimization efforts.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory planning.
- Ability to analyze purchasing trends and supplier performance metrics.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated professional with a continuous improvement mindset.
