  • Install modular office configurations and maintain office furniture.
  • Use, maintain, and store hand/power/specialty tools safely.
  • Manage inventories; purchase tools, hardware, and supplies within budget through local sources or JEM purchasing.
  • Provide seasonal snow removal and salt application at entries and exits.
  • Serve on the Safety Committee; promote safe practices and deliver training/updates to associates.
  • Champion continuous improvement in facilities maintenance.
  • Operate a forklift safely.
  • Comply with all JEM policies and procedures, including ISO, OSHA, and AWAIR requirements.
  • Support JEM’s mission and values, maintain reliable attendance, and perform other duties as assigned.

Your Toolbelt of Skills

  • Machine safety inspections and a strong safety mindset.
  • Comfort with VFDs, PLCs, conveyor systems, and servo motors.

Environment & Demands

Expect occasional exposure to wet/humid (non-weather) areas, moving mechanical parts, high/precarious places, fumes/airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, electrical shock risk, and vibration. Noise level is typically moderately loud.

Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs.; frequently up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs. Visual needs include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception. You’ll regularly stand, walk, reach, use hands, and talk/hear; occasionally sit, climb/balance, and stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl.
