We are looking for a skilled IT Director/VP to join our team on a contract basis in Richfield, Minnesota. This role requires an experienced leader with extensive expertise in healthcare technology, legacy system modernization, and strategic IT management. You will play a critical role in driving technological advancements while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee IT operations and lead the modernization of legacy systems to improve efficiency and performance.
• Manage cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and resolve technical challenges.
• Direct IT projects using Agile, Scrum, or other project management frameworks to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of technology systems.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategies with organizational objectives.
• Leverage cloud technologies and automation tools to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain IT governance policies, including AI and data security protocols.
• Evaluate and implement ERP and CRM solutions to support business operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure reliable technology support.
• Oversee backup technologies and disaster recovery planning to safeguard critical data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience in IT within healthcare or similar industries.
• Proven expertise in modernizing legacy systems and implementing cloud-based solutions.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to guide teams effectively.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and automation tools.
• Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems, as well as expertise in backup technologies.
• Experience working with Cisco technologies and computer hardware deployments.
