Located near Elgin and Buffalo Grove, IL, this opportunity is tailored for a skilled School Psychologist who fulfills IL PSYCH credentials. With a 37.5-hour weekly schedule over five days, candidates will work with a diverse caseload where student numbers may vary according to needs.
Your time will be divided between completing ECAT evaluations, attending meetings, and providing the full range of school psychologist services in Lake Villa. This split-role increases your exposure to different settings and student populations, enhancing your professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist Certification (IL PSYCH)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Experience with ECAT evaluations is a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Dedication to supporting the social, emotional, and academic needs of students from early childhood through middle school
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ECAT evaluations for early childhood students and participate in related meetings
- Provide standard school psychologist services at a separate campus covering Pre-K through 8th grade
- Work closely with staff, students, and families to develop intervention strategies
- Support the district’s special education processes, ensure compliance, and create positive educational outcomes
