Job Title: Wood Technician / Furniture Repair Technician

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Wood Technician / Furniture Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with wood, furniture repair, and refinishing. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing furniture, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess furniture for damage or needed repairs

• Perform repairs including wood touch-ups, refinishing, re-gluing, sanding, staining, and structural fixes

• Restore furniture to original condition using appropriate tools, techniques, and materials

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Follow safety procedures and ensure proper handling of equipment and materials

• Communicate repair needs, timelines, and progress with supervisors/customers as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in woodwork, furniture repair, or a related trade

• Knowledge of woodworking techniques, stains, finishes, and repair processes

• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Ability to lift and move furniture as needed

• Valid driver’s license preferred (if travel to job sites is required)

Compensation:

• Pay range: $22 – $28]/hour DOE
