Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain light-duty, medium-duty vehicles, or Commercial Vehicles depending on experience (Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Cummings, Detroit, Etc.)
Perform routine services including oil changes, brake repairs, and preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software
Document all repairs, parts used, and labor hours in compliance with company standards
Ensure a safe and organized work environment by following OSHA and company safety protocols
Collaborate with shop supervisors and fellow technicians to complete jobs efficiently
Stay up to date with new automotive technologies and repair procedures

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on automotive or Diesel repair experience (preferred)
Strong knowledge of engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems
ASE Certification is a plus but not required
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and read technical manuals
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
