Manufacturing Assistant
Job Title:&nbsp;Manufacturing Assistant Location:&nbsp;Catawba, SC Pay:&nbsp;$18.50 per hour Shift:&nbsp;2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11pm
Manufacturing Assistant Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Train in various departments, including material handling, shear operation, and manual bender machine operation.</li>
<li>Operate machines such as overhead cranes and large forklifts.</li>
<li>Work in a smaller warehouse environment, wearing multiple hats.</li>
<li>Perform tasks involving bending, cutting, and measuring metal, steel, and rebar.</li>
<li>Operate various power tools, including routers, table saws, drills, band saws, jig saws, drill press, power staplers, etc.</li>
<li>Perform finishing operations, including riveting, deburring, assembly using screws, nuts and bolts, plastic welding, power stapling, and gluing.</li>
<li>Handle heavy manual equipment and adapt to extreme temperature changes.</li>
</ul>
Manufacturing Assistant Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>MUST have over head crane operation experience</li>
<li>Good math skills and willingness to learn how to operate different equipment.</li>
<li>Experience in the construction field, fabricating, or rebar work is encouraged.</li>
<li>Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physically demanding tasks.</li>
