Director of Engineering

Job Summary:
The Director of Engineering will lead and oversee our global engineering department in
achieving objectives across our multi-disciplinary engineering activities. The Director of
Engineering will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, managing a talented team of
engineers, and ensuring the successful development of leading-edge solutions for military
and aerospace applications.

Summary of essential job functions:

· Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams globally, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

· Lead the design and development of products tailored to meet the exacting requirements of the military and aerospace sectors.

· Develop and execute global engineering strategies in alignment with company objectives, ensuring design excellence, cost-effectiveness, and product reliability.

· Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among engineering teams in different regions to optimize product development and integration.

· Efficiently manage global engineering resources, budgets, and project timelines.

· Stay abreast of the latest technological trends and apply relevant innovations to our product portfolio.

· Other responsibilities or duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Extensive leadership experience in the military, aerospace, or related industries,

· with a proven track record of managing global teams.

· In-depth expertise in interconnect design, manufacturing processes, and a deep

· understanding of industry standards.

· Exceptional project management skills with a history of successful product

· launches.

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

· Master's or Ph.D. preferred.

· 10 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

· 5 years of experience leading an engineering department

2 years of experience managing a global team
