Job Description:
We are seeking a Director, TVAD to serve as the strategic lead and subject matter expert across TV, Video, Audio, Display, Streaming, and Programmatic media channels. This individual will own client relationships, lead media planning initiatives, provide thought leadership, and guide a team responsible for executing full-funnel media campaigns across national and local markets.
Job Summary:
- Act as the senior strategic lead and primary client-facing contact for TVAD engagements.
- Build and present annual media plans, forecasts, and channel recommendations.
- Lead strategy across CTV, OTT, streaming, online video, digital audio, radio, linear TV, and programmatic display.
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends, publishers, networks, FAST channels, and emerging media opportunities.
- Guide and mentor a team of Strategists and Senior Strategists while ensuring quality execution.
- Review campaign performance, budget pacing, reporting, and media investment strategies.
- Troubleshoot campaign issues and provide expertise on DSP platforms, Google Ads, and YouTube Ads.
- Lead client presentations, planning sessions, and executive-level discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated, full-funnel media strategies.
- Support national and local market planning across multiple geographic regions.
- Evaluate performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10 years of media planning, buying, and strategy experience within an agency environment.
- Director-level experience leading client relationships and media strategy.
- Deep expertise in Streaming, OTT, CTV, Online Video, Audio, Linear TV, and Programmatic Display.
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital media planning.
- Experience building annual media plans, forecasts, and budget recommendations.
- National and local media buying experience across multiple markets.
- Hands-on experience with DSP platforms, programmatic buying, and media measurement.
- Ability to speak confidently with clients about publishers, networks, streaming platforms, and media trends.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and media analysis.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and YouTube Ads.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Full-funnel marketing expertise spanning brand awareness through lead generation and conversion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with media mix modeling (MMM) and attribution methodologies.
- Familiarity with Nielsen, VideoAmp, MRI-Simmons, Mediaocean, or similar planning and measurement tools.
- Experience working with home services or multi-location brands.
- Knowledge of incrementality testing and advanced measurement frameworks.
- Exposure to proprietary media planning and analytics platforms.
