TYG is partnering with a leading specialist consultancy that is seeking to hire a Principal to join its established Building Envelope practice in New York.

This is a senior leadership opportunity combining technical project delivery, client development and the continued growth of the firm’s NYC practice.

Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
- \n
- Lead the design and delivery of complex new construction facade and building enclosure projects
- Provide technical leadership across facades, waterproofing, fenestration, roofing and specialty enclosure systems
- Build and maintain relationships with major owners, architects, developers and industry partners
- Lead proposals, presentations and strategic pursuits for new work
- Mentor and develop technical staff across the practice
- Support the financial performance, strategy and continued growth of the New York team

Requirements
\n
\n
- \n
- 10+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, design or a related field
- Strong background in new construction and building enclosure design
- PE, RA or equivalent professional licensure
- Experience leading complex projects and managing senior client relationships
- Strong understanding of facade and building enclosure systems
- Ability to contribute to business development and practice growth
- Previous experience mentoring and developing technical teams
