Oar Staffing is conducting a search for Temp to Hire Factory Associates for a client in Norristown, PA. In this role you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and overseeing industrial machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
The pay rate for
1st shift is $17 hour 6am-2pm
2nd shift $18.25 hour 2pm-10pm
Must be able to pass drug test and criminal background screening
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous culinary experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills – accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Certifications in warehouse/material handling equipment, specifically reach truck, electric jack, forklift, and scissor lift preferred but will train
- Must be able to comprehend and accurately follow basic instructions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. to shoulder height
- Must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling.
- Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
- Work environment includes slippery surfaces, noise or vibrations, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, fumes or odors
