Established (30+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Construction Law Associate for Construction Law in East Syracuse, New YorkAn established firm based in East Syracuse, New York with over 30 years in practice is seeking a Construction Law Associate with 5+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This role focuses on public sector construction matters, including capital construction projects for school districts and BOCES, and provides the opportunity to advise clients throughout the full lifecycle of complex construction projects while working in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Offer
Salary range: $125,000-$180,000+

Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing
At least 5+ years of construction law experience representing public or private sector clients
Working knowledge of AIA Contract Documents and public bidding requirements
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively with school district clients, consultants, and contractors
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented law firm environment Responsibilities
Providing legal counsel to school district and BOCES clients on capital construction projects
Drafting and negotiating architect agreements and construction management contracts
Assisting with preparation and review of bid documents and procurement materials
Advising clients on bid awards and compliance with applicable public contracting laws
Supporting construction administration and project closeout matters
Assisting in the resolution of disputes arising from capital construction projects - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
