Job Description

We are looking for the right fit in a motivated Legal Assistant/Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs including calling clients to complete discovery and request documents, file pleadings and other documents with the court, draft letters, follow up with clients and outside counsel, scheduling, intake calls, and other needs as they arise. It is critical that the applicant be familiar with the filing process for state and federal courts in NJ and PA or a quick learn with a real attention to detail.

We want someone who is also a good fit at the office. We are a generally relaxed place to work but do what is necessary to get the job done. We work together to solve problems and offer to help whenever we can. We want someone who can get along with the staff.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research to support legal proceedings
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Record and store client information

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
Familiarity with legal research
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented

Please note we will be testing some skills with a 2nd interview. Pay range is commensurate with experience and skill level. Job is fully in person.
