We are a food brokerage company looking for a part-time (24 hours per week) Retail Grocery Associate to call on local grocery stores with the main objective of recording and improving product distribution.
Candidates with strong social and communication skills who are able to nourish existing relationships with store staff and department managers and generate new ones, are highly encouraged to apply. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
The route is within the areas of Kendall-homestead, therefore MUST live in one of these areas.
Mileage will be expensed at $0.63/mile from the time you leave your home to start route to the moment you return from completing route.
Responsibilities:
- Collection of product information via audit process using iPad device
- Increase distribution of out-of-stock products by providing suggested order information to store department managers or placing orders.
- Applying coupons to products
- Occasional shelf stocking/pricing product
- Checking product expiration dates
- Creating secondary promotional displays upon requests
Requirements:
- Must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and have a professional/polite attitude.
- Must be able to work independently with good time management skills and able to adapt to an ever-changing business environment.
- Activities include recording of distribution on iPad device, applying coupons to products, occasional shelf stocking/pricing product, checking expiration dates and creating secondary promotional displays upon requests.
- Must be able to stand/move for long periods of time, and lift up to 15 lbs.
- Must have reliable/economical transportation, a valid Driver License, good driving record, and proof of auto insurance coverage of 100/300/100.
- Must possess basic computer skills to include E-mail communication, Excel and have a smartphone with a fairly good camera.
- Clean & neat appearance required. Dress code is uniform shirt /business casual.
