Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team! The ideal candidate has a strong background in apartment leasing, excels in customer service and sales, and is passionate about helping prospective residents find their next home. This role plays a key part in driving occupancy, resident satisfaction, and overall community success.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing & Sales:

• Greet and tour prospective residents, showcasing the community and available units
• Effectively communicate pricing, availability, and community features
• Follow up with prospects through calls, emails, and outreach to convert leads into leases
• Meet and exceed leasing goals and occupancy targets

Customer Service & Resident Relations:

• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
• Assist with resident inquiries, concerns, and lease-related questions
• Build strong relationships to support resident retention and renewals

Administrative Duties:

• Process applications, lease agreements, and renewals accurately
• Maintain organized and up-to-date resident files
• Enter traffic, leases, and follow-ups into property management systems
• Assist with reporting and daily office operations

Marketing & Outreach:

• Maintain knowledge of current market trends and competitor communities
• Assist with marketing efforts, resident events, and outreach initiatives
• Ensure model units and tour paths are clean, organized, and show-ready

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment leasing experience required
• Strong sales and closing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Onesite, etc.) preferred
• Professional appearance and positive attitude

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual is a plus
• Experience with resident retention and renewals
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and Software
