We’re searching for skilled technicians to join our network as independent contractors specializing in automotive electronics installations. In this role, you’ll install, troubleshoot, and repair GPS trackers, dash cameras, and other fleet telematics systems in a variety of vehicles—including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment.

This is 1099 contract work that offers flexible scheduling and steady opportunities in your area. You’ll travel to job sites, complete high-quality mobile electronics installations, and ensure every job meets DRIG’s standards for professional vehicle wiring and excellent customer service.

We offer competitive pay and are looking to hire reliable, detail-oriented technicians who have experience with low-voltage installations in vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure a variety of aftermarket automotive electronics, including GPS trackers, dash cameras, remote start systems, and other fleet telematics devices.

  • Deliver high-quality work from start to finish, ensuring a smooth installation process and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate records for each job, while ensuring all installations meet DRIG’s quality standards and fleet management system requirements.

  • Collaborate with DRIG’s Quality Control (QC) team during your first 30–60 days to ensure alignment with our standards and receive support on complex installations.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to provide a positive experience on every job.

  • Use DRIG’s user-friendly systems to access job details, upload documentation, and manage assignments efficiently.

  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance standards to minimize the need for return visits.



Requirements Requirements:

  • Experience installing aftermarket automotive electronics in vehicles—such as GPS trackers, dash cameras, car audio, remote starts, car alarms, or vehicle lighting.
  • Solid understanding of 12-volt vehicle wiring.
  • Must have all necessary tools, supplies, and materials.

  • A reliable vehicle to travel to job sites as needed.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Smartphone or tablet to review job details, complete documentation, verify installations, and communicate with the DRIG team.

  • Willingness to complete a background check.

  • MECP certification is a plus, but not required.
