Job DescriptionMissionWaséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) is a 100% Tribally owned, Native American SBA 8(a) small business of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP). WFS is part of a portfolio of companies managed by Waséyabek Development Company, LLC, a 100% Tribally owned economic development firm focused on income diversification on behalf of NHBP that reaches beyond gaming is a well-funded, experienced small business, with substantial liquid assets and experience in federal contracting. WFS has borrowing capacity to meet the daily cash needs of new business development, new award support, and operational working capital. WFS is well-versed in federal contract compliance and providing outstanding support services. Position Summary
The SAS Supervisor will play a key role in supervising the execution of the NETL Site Administrative Support functions. They will be the link that connects the administrative support to the customer in which they are supporting. Must have strong organizational and communication skills and be able to identify and correct any potential issues proactively.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Supervise clerical and administrative staff across various teams and scope areas.
· Leadership of large and small teams.
· Trains clerical and administrative staff.
· Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of departmental staff.
· Conducts or assists with performance evaluations (that includes developing key performance goals) that are timely and constructive.
· Assists with hiring, discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Other Duties / Responsibilities:
· Solid technical understanding of Microsoft-based business systems and applications, including servers.
· Detailed interdisciplinary knowledge of best practices and development processes for communication products across print, web, and multimedia formats.
· Understanding of Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimization, and social media.
· Ensuring that departments or teams deliver quality work to clients.
· Developing new solutions to meet client needs
· Set goals and deadlines for the various departments.
· Develop, manage, and monitor records.
· Supports other related, varying needs of assigned departments and staff.
· Identifies opportunities for cost savings, better efficiency, or other improvements; recommends and implements policy or process changes as appropriate.
· Ad hoc reporting as necessary.
· Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
· Make modifications to existing procedures or systems as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Superior ability to identify and solve problems.
· Ability to solve basic math problems.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Knowledge of basic administrative and clerical systems and procedures.
· Working knowledge of basic business and management principles as applied to resource allocation, leadership technique, staff and resource coordination, strategic planning, and human resource modeling.
· Must be detail-oriented, highly motivated, and able to multitask
· Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
· Steward the organizational culture with a focus on teamwork and commitment to service amidst a diverse colleague and customer base.
· Ability to quickly adapt focus, adjust schedule and problem solve to meet evolving work demands.
· Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also work independently and balance multiple competing priorities and tasks.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
· Ability to pass an extensive background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WFS.
Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Three to five years of related experience required.
