Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about solving complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret startup plans, prints, and drawings to verify design accuracy and identify potential issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide troubleshooting support remotely and on-site.
- Perform field testing, start-up, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Document all findings, prepare reports, and communicate results to relevant teams.
- Support in-house electrical testing and load testing when not in the field.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (technical training or equivalent experience preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC programming, generators, and protective relays.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and electrical diagrams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to travel frequently, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying outdoor conditions.
