Estate Planning Paralegal
Brown & Streza, LLP is a mid-sized law firm in Orange County that focuses on Business Planning, Estate Planning, Complex Income Tax Planning, Charitable Sector and Mergers & Acquisitions. We are seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to work with one or more estate planning attorneys.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Assisting in initial drafting of estate planning documents.
- Funding trusts with client assets.
- Meeting and communicating with clients and client advisors.
- Preparation of deeds and accompanying transfer documents.
- Maintaining client files.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal work experience.
- Current ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
- Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and proofreading skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Windows.
- Preferred:
- 5 years of experience working as a paralegal.
- Experience working in estate planning, drafting revocable living trusts and other foundational estate planning documents.
- Experience with WealthDocs, NetDocs & LawBase.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing and walking
- Sitting for up to four hours at a time
- Bending and stooping as needed

Schedule:
- 38-hour work week – ½ day Fridays
- This role could be hybrid eligible after the 90-day introductory period.
Salary:
$55,000 - $85,000 (dependent on experience)
