Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience supporting K-12 students in a school setting strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Advocate for students’ communication development and educational access
