Position Overview
As the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, vendor relations, and ensuring timely parts delivery to keep repair jobs on schedule. Your role is crucial in supporting our technicians and ensuring smooth shop operations.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy and quality

Maintain organized inventory and stock levels

Coordinate with estimators and technicians to ensure parts accuracy and availability

Manage returns, warranties, and core credits with vendors

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for optimal pricing and delivery timelines

Monitor parts-related expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities

Maintain proper documentation and records in the management system
Qualifications

Strong attention to detail

Familiarity with collision repair processes and estimating systems (CCC, Mitchell, etc.)

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills

Experience with DRP programs and insurance procedure

Experience in parts management (auto body industry preferred)

Strong knowledge of automotive parts (OEM & aftermarket)
