Our client is a property management company. They seek a temp Recertification Specialist to join their Westchester, NY office.


Responsibilities

  • Gather information required for tenant income certifications and process data to prepare annual recertifications, ensuring timely completion
  • Communicate with tenants and property managers to coordinate the submission of documentation and resolve any outstanding items
  • Validate income details received from tenants in accordance with program regulations and enter verified data into Yardi
  • Obtain tenant signatures upon completion of the recertification process
  • Review and maintain tenant files to ensure full compliance with program requirements and recordkeeping standards


Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, property management, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in affordable housing, property management, or compliance admin
  • Strong understanding of income certification, recertification, and other housing program requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing compliance regulations is a plus
  • Yardi experience is required
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
