Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Operator – Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Cranbury, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pharmaceutical solid dosage manufacturing, particularly with tablets and related production processes.

This position requires experience working in a regulated cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, following SOPs and batch records, operating production equipment, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing activities within a regulated cGMP pharmaceutical production environment.
  • Operate and clean pharmaceutical production equipment used in oral solid dosage manufacturing.
  • Perform activities including:
    • Dispensing
    • Granulation
    • Sifting
    • Milling
    • Drying
    • Encapsulation
    • Coating
    • Compression
    • Equipment cleaning
  • Set up, operate, dismantle, and clean manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, safety procedures, and GMP requirements.
  • Accurately complete manufacturing and production documentation.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the production area remains compliant with cGMP standards.
  • Follow all required personal hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Wear appropriate PPE, including partial or full-face protection when required.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Support safe, efficient, and compliant production operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of recent, relevant Production Operator experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing is required.
  • Hands-on experience with solid dosage processes such as tablet compression, granulation, coating, encapsulation, milling, drying, and sifting.
  • Familiarity with cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong understanding of SOPs, batch records, safety procedures, and GMP requirements.
  • Ability to read and write documentation in English.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to wear required PPE in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A bachelor's degree in physical sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related life-science field is a plus.
  • Strong employment stability in pharmaceutical production is preferred.
