A retail and long-term care pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a per diem position based in Coal Grove, OH. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential medication management and counseling within a supportive healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications as authorized by physicians and healthcare providers
- Offer expert guidance to patients and caregivers on proper medication usage and potential side effects
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and trust
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication therapy outcomes
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio pharmacist license (required)
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours each day)
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (6 hours)
- Total weekly hours: 42
