Position Title: Press Brake Operator – West Chester PA
Job Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire
Shift / Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 / hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to set up, program, and operate press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal plates and sheets in accordance with rigorous engineering blueprints and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC press brakes using complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop travelers.
- Select and install appropriate punches, dies, and tooling based on material gauge, bend radius, and angle requirements.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and angle finders.
- Adjust machine settings to compensate for material springback and maintain tight tolerances.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor operational issues, and maintain a safe, clean shop floor environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3+ years of verifiable experience setting up and operating CNC press brakes within a custom fabrication or manufacturing setting.
- Advanced ability to read, interpret, and work from complex blueprints and technical schematics.
- Strong proficiency in shop math and the use of precision measurement tools.
- Solid understanding of metal properties, material thickness, and springback characteristics.
