Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
  • Mix and match paint colors according to specifications using both manual and computerized systems.
  • Apply paint using spray guns, ensuring an even coat and smooth finish.
  • Perform touch-ups, buffing, and polishing to achieve a flawless final product.
  • Inspect all completed work for quality control, ensuring that it meets company standards.
  • Maintain and clean painting equipment and spray guns.
  • Follow safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels of paints and supplies, informing management of any needs.

IDEAL CANDIDATE POSSESSES THESE ATTRIBUTES:

  • Proven experience as an auto body painter or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with automotive paint systems.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and state inspection license
