Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to safely move, load, unload, and organize products within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts, using RF scanners, and supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, and clamp truck.
- Safely load, unload, transport, and stack materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pick and stage orders accurately using forklift equipment.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and update warehouse records.
- Organize inventory, pallets, and storage locations to maintain warehouse efficiency.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including trailer loading and unloading.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and operating procedures.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged products.
- Cross-train on different types of warehouse equipment as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks.
- Knowledge of material handling, loading, unloading, and order picking processes.
- Experience using RF scanners and inventory tracking systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Comfortable working at heights when operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to safety and ability to perform equipment inspections.
- Willingness to learn and operate multiple types of warehouse equipment.

- Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse organization.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible to work different shifts, including overtime and shift differential schedules.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Peters, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
