Job Description*** Must Interview In-Person ***Position: Junior Landscape Project Manager
Location: Various Project Sites Throughout Oahu
Schedule: Full-Time
Starting Pay Rate: $28.84 per hour
Position Summary:As a Junior Landscape Project Manager, you will work under the guidance of experienced Project Managers to coordinate projects, manage schedules and support field operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a rewarding career in commercial landscape construction and project management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing landscape construction projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate work schedules and support field crews under the direction of Project Managers
- Learn to interpret landscape and irrigation plans, specifications, contracts and project budgets
- Participate in project planning, strategy and design implementation
- Prepare project correspondence and documentation
- Attend job site meetings and assist with field coordination
- Track project budgets and material orders
- Coordinate crew schedules and project timelines
- Gain knowledge of plant selection, landscape design principles and horticultural practices
- Learn proper use of landscaping equipment and industry safety procedures
- Work both outdoors at project sites and in an office environment as needed
- Collaborate with industry professionals on high-profile commercial projects
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Valid Hawaii driver's license
- College degree preferred but not required
