Role Description The Construction Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Palm Desert, CA. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects by reviewing plans, specifications, and related documents, and performing quantity take-offs across multiple trades. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing subcontractor and vendor quotes, developing project budgets, and updating cost projections throughout the project lifecycle. The estimator collaborates with project managers, engineers, and field teams to clarify scope, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support bid submissions. The role also involves maintaining estimating data, tracking market pricing, and communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely estimates.\n
Qualifications

- Strong Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skills across relevant trades and building systems.
- Proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting, including developing, tracking, and updating project cost plans.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, clients, and vendors.
- Experience with construction estimating software and MS Office (especially Excel) or similar tools.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes; ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
- Relevant experience in construction estimating; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Palm Desert, CA and participate in occasional site visits and meetings.
