The Mammography Technologist at Bay Area Hospital – Imaging in Coos Bay, OR, is a skilled professional responsible for performing high-quality mammography examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This permanent role offers a competitive pay range of $35–$55 per hour based on experience, a supportive work environment, and great benefits including relocation assistance. The position involves working 10-hour day shifts, with possible weekend and on-call duties.
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts / 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of mammography examinations
- Apply mammography imaging principles and techniques to produce quality diagnostic images
- Operate mammography and related imaging equipment
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
- Collaborate effectively with patients, physicians, and other departments
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography
- Current Oregon license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
Pay
- $35–$55/hour, based on experience
